WED - Today, we left Florence and made our way down south towards Rome via the Tuscany.
First stop was The Mall at Via Europa, an outlet mall outside Florence that sells the major brands like Prada, Gucci, Valentino, Armani, etc. Prices were more than 15% discounted from retail stores. This was our first outlet mall shopping.
Sky turned dark after our shopping due to shorter daylight. So we decided to drive to Siena and stayed there for the night.
Siena is a walled city in the Tuscany Chianti region. We checked into Hotel Athena (named after the Greek Goddes of War), and enjoyed a Siena-styled dinner at Da Cice (we only had an hour as our table was reserved). 
We would have a short tour of this walled city in the Tuscany before heading to Montepulciano tomorrow.
